Bessie Aoki Suemi Kong, 93, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2020. Predeceased by husband Maurice Kong. After graduating from Kohala High, she was employed by the Public Works Dept. at Pearl Harbor until she retired after 20 years of service. She then worked for Stark Realty for several years before becoming a partner in Executive Properties. She was very active, managing properties for her many Japanese clients in Uraku Tower among others. She loved to entertain and for many years hosted the annual Christmas party that everyone looked forward to. She loved to play Mahjong with her sisters and watch Wheel Of Fortune cheering on the contestents. She is survived by her three sons, Leland, Scott, and Russell, sister Ethel from Los Angeles, grandsons Daniel, Justin, Ryan, and granddaughters Kanani, Tianna, Jenilee, Taylor and great-grandson Jedaiah.
