On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, Masae "Maisie" Ogawa peacefully passed away at the age of 93. Masae was born on July 15, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Kanji Nakatani and Tsurumi Kagemoto. She began work at Bank of Hawaii in 1962 and retired with 28 years in 1990. She was lucky in love, lucky in Vegas, and lucky to have traveled around the world. Masae had a charming disposition, believed honesty was the best policy, and lived her life with integrity and respect. She is survived by her husband, of 68 years, Henry, two children Blanche (Allan) Kaneshiro and Curtis Ogawa, brother Herbert Kagemoto, sisters Lillian Thompson and Jean Kagemoto, two grand- children Jaimie (Daniel) Murakami and Evan Kaneshiro, great-grandson Mikah Murakami, and nieces and nephews.
