102, Alma Wong Dunn, born in Wailuku in 1917, passed away peacefully at home on Lei Day. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend Frank, and 13 brothers and sisters. Alma worked as a teacher while raising her family on windward Oahu. After the death of her husband, she moved to Washington DC. where she enjoyed work as a convention industry professional. She traveled widely before retiring in Hawaii which she described as the best place in the world. She makes us smile just thinking of her humor and rascalness and love of mele. Alma is survived by two sons, Mike (Belle), Sam (Demetra), daughters Dannie and Deborah, five grandchildren, great-grand- children and generations of nieces, nephews, friends, and her loving caregivers. No service at this time.
