David Kanji Miyamoto
96, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at his residence on June 1, 2020. He was born in Haleiwa, Hawaii.
David was employed at City Bank of Honolulu where he worked his way up to vice president and branch manager. He loved golfing and traveling the world with his wife of 68 years. He served as president of the Jodo Mission of Hawaii for six years. David was a founding member of the Pearl City Lions Club where he served the community for over 64 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel, children, Karen Miyamoto, Anne Miyamoto and Susan (Jim) Utsugi, grandchildren, Noel and Sara Utsugi, siblings, Clifford Miyamoto and Keiko Yamagata. Preceeded in death by siblings, Edna Miyamoto, Carol Murashige and Osuma Miyamoto.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jodo Mission of Hawaii. Seating is limited due to Covid 19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers or koden, donations are welcomed to Island Hospice or Pearl City Lions Club.
