He was preceded in death by Violet S., his wife of 68 years. Survived by sons Jerome, Carl (Dawn); daughters Mary-Jane "MJ" (Ronald) Fujii, and Lynn (Daren) Katayama; grandchildren Shannon Watanabe, Kelvyn Watanabe, Ryan (Melanie) Fujii, Royce Fujii, Kristyn Katayama and Kelsey Katayama; and many nieces and nephews.
