She is survived by her children, Clayton (Cynthia) Toguchi and Gail (Ronald) Kawashima; granddaughters: Kelly Kawashima and Kathy (Daniel) Lara; great grandson, Zachary Lara; nephew, Ronald Kiyohiro and niece, Winifred (William) McGill; also survived by relatives in Japan, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, and New Hampshire.
A private graveside funeral service was held on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, with Reverand Richard Furukawa from Johrei Fellowship Los Angeles Center officiating.
