97, of Honolulu, passed away on July 2, 2020. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired city and county employee. He served in the Military Intelligence Service division during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Jane (Nakahara); daughters, Karen (Mike) Yamamoto, Evelyn, and Gail; grandchildren, Ryan Yamamoto and Kristen (Clinton) Ono; great- grandchildren, Caleb and Logan Ono; brothers, George (Maile), James (Lynette), and Harry (Karen); and sister, May (Sidney) Kan.
