Ester Gloria Ramos
Ester Gloria Ramos June 3, 1946 ~July 4, 2020 “A life that touches others goes on forever.” Ester was from Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, the second-eldest daughter of Eugenio and Sebastiana Macadangdang. Ester came to Hawaii at the age of 7, graduated from Farrington High School, and attended the University of Hawaii's School of Nursing. She moved to California and raised her family in Huntington Beach. Through her work, she touched countless lives: she founded Goldenwest Home Health Agency in California, and after moving back to Hawaii in 1991 she directed Hospice of Kona, and later founded both Aiea Heights Rest Home and Safe Harbor Homecare on Oahu. Ester is survived by her husband, Angel; children, Leina (Greg) Stowers and Marc (Erica) Ramos; grandsons: Samuel & William Stowers and Mitchell Ramos; siblings: Clarita Badua, Gary Macadangdang, Ardel Vandenberg; cousins, nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her courage, strength, and generous heart. Private Services will be held.
