Priscilla Valdez Tampon
On August 13, 2020, Priscilla Valdez Tampon, surrounded by family at her home in Kahuku, was called by our Heavenly Father at the age of 76. A graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy and Honolulu Business College, "Aunty Pris," as known by many, retired as the Director of Religious Education at St. Michael's Parish in Waialua. The eldest of five children, she joins her children: Numeriano Tampon Jr. and Emily Keliihoomalu, her parents: Emilio and Estrella Valdez, and her sister: Josephine Valdez in the arms of Jesus. Priscilla is survived by her Husband: Numeriano Tampon Sr., Daughters: Estrellita (Reggie) Torres and Regina (Peter) Kaupe, Brother: Richard (Dawn) Valdez, Sisters: Caroline (Placido) Camacho and Alberta Valdez, as well as 13 grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren. The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the care teams of Kaiser Moanalua and St. Francis Hospice for the wonderful service given to our Priscilla in her final moments.
