83, of Wahiawa, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on May 22, 2020. Alice was born and raised in Wahiawa, Hawaii.Survived by her husband of 54-years, Ichiji 'Ike' Ogata; daughters, Kelly (Mark) Miyamoto and Lori (Bryan) Sakuoka; 2 grandchildren; brother, Edward (Karen) Nishimoto; sisters: Laura Watanabe, Ruth (Brian) Fukumoto and Hilda Ohara.
Mom will forever be known for her pure heart, kind soul and her gentle spirit. Alice Asako, beautiful "morning child," sweetly named by her beloved mom, Yone (Rose) "Rosy" Nishimoto, loved life and sincerely loved people, spreading love and sunshine wherever she went. Mom truly made it a wonderful world.
Private services were held by the ocean, Mom's happy place, followed by committal and interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. Mom now lives in Heaven with Jesus. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your love and support!
