Age, 82, passed away on May 27, 2020. She was born on October 3, 1937 in Honolulu to Genjiro and Kikuyo Sakashita. She was the seventh of eight children. After she graduated from McKinley High School in 1955, Alice moved to California where she met Ronald Masashi Shishido. They moved back to Hawaii and got married in 1960. She became a loving supportive mother of two sons. She retired as a food service worker from Hamilton cafeteria at the University of Hawaii. She then helped to raise her grandchildren for 19 years. She is survived by sons Darry (Lori) and Blaine (Melissa); brothers Richard Sakashita and Sueo Sakashita; sister Dorothy Kawasaki; and 4 grandchildren, Christian, Taylor, Ty, and Trey. She will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Private services to be held on a later date.
