Shigeru Tomita, 90, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed way at home on August 18, 2020. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife Margaret and daughters Teri (Clarence) Young and Tracey Sakamoto. His joy was his family and he was a devoted Grandpa to Preston, Jason, Palmer and Justin. He is survived by brother Richard and predeceased by brothers Jack, Isamu, Kazuo, Thomas and sisters Kimiko Ohashi and Betty Miyamoto. He enjoyed a long and successful career in Hawaii's hospitality industry as President of Hawaiian Pacific Resorts and later as Vice President and Executive General Manager of Sports Shinko (Waikiki) Corporation (Queen Kapiolani Hotel, Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki and Diamond Head Beach Hotel) from which he retired.
