Age 90, passed away on April 25, 2020 in Honolulu. She was born to James and Gladys Omura on July 16, 1929 in North Kohala and was the eldest of three siblings.Married to the late Walter Isobe for over 50 years, they raised three children. Jean was an accountant by profession but in later years engaged in the travel industry. She was an avid traveler and tour escort and especially loved frequent trips to Las Vegas. She always helped others and will be remembered for her proficiency in her handcraft. Jean enjoyed a very happy and full life.
She is survived by her children Brian Isobe, Gwen Honjo, and Richard (Shari) Isobe, her brothers Robert Omura and George (Florence) Omura, and grandchildren Kimberlee (Joel) Mercado, Stayson Isobe, and Kryssa Isobe.
