Passed away on March 23, 2020 at the age of 89. Born in Kohala, Big Island, Gilbert served in the U.S. Army and was an electrician by trade with an expertise in television and electronics repair. He worked on film and tv productions including Hawaii 5-0, Magnum PI, The Movie Hawaii, Tora Tora Tora, Waterworld, Karate Kid, Tour of Duty to name a few.He was also known for his production of the 'noni' juice which helped many people with various ailments.
He is survived by his sons, Eugene (JoAnn), Erik (Vickie) and Earle. Grandchilden: Leslie, Melissa, Kristie and Sara.
