Romie P. K. Parker
Romie P. K. Parker65, of Makakilo, died on September 11, 2020, in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 6, 1955. Romie was a home health aide for her younger brother, Tom. She was a Kamehameha Schools '73 alumni, who loved to do genealogy and family history work. She also enjoyed singing, ethnic cooking, crafts, and viewing Korean dramas. She spoke a few languages, including some Korean, Hawaiian, Pidgin, American Sign Language, and her favorite, and most conversant being French. Romie was preceded in death by her father Erwin "Rusty" Wright Sr. and brother-in-law Chris Simmons; survived by her husband Samson Parker Jr and three children, Kloe, Keely, and Koenen; and 8 grand- children, 1 great-grandchild, her mother Wattie Wright, her siblings Erwin Jr (Uilani), Maili Simmons, Ernest (Nani), Tom, and 22 nieces and nephews, 16 grand- nieces and nephews. The public is invited to a viewing, aloha attire, at Woolsey Mortuary, 534 Ohohia St., Honolulu, September 30, 2020, between 8:00-10:30 a.m., in strict adherence to the COVID-19 requirements of temperature checks, face coverings, social distancing, and the ten-person (10) maximum occupancy rules.
