74, born in Honolulu, raised on Maui. A Vietnam War veteran, retired Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army, and retired U.S. Postal Service carrier. He passed away on October 21, 2020 at Queen's Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Sombat; son Michael S. (Anh); daughters Michelle (David Flack) Otake and Kimberly (Joseph) Kim; grandchildren Kammi Matsumoto, Lauren Kim, Ashley Kim, and Andrew Otake. Private services.
