Carolyn's time with us ended on October 14, 2020. She was not able to recover from on-going respiratory difficulties and passed very calmly and peacefully in her sleep.
We are forever thankful to all who connected with and guided Carolyn in her lifetime, from the "hana-bata" days at Kalihi Waena Elementary and Dole Intermediate Schools, at Farrington High School, at the previous Swan Bakery in Kalihi, and at the previous American Security Banks in Kapahulu, Kalihi, and Hilo.
Thank you to the "gang" of Troop 50 for the numerous camping trips that the girl from Honolulu so enjoyed.
Much Thanks to the Guys and Gals who invited Carolyn to travel with them. We are grateful for her enjoyment and the memories from those numerous trips.
To Big Island Candies Foundation, Thank You for 24 weekends of memories with family, friends, and grandchildren.
To the dedicated ladies at Big Island Alliance For the Mentally Ill, Thank You for continuing the participation in family support activities. We cannot convey adequate Thank You's.
To the Officers, Directors, and Members of Hui Okinawa, Thank You for allowing Carolyn to serve the Organization as an Officer and Director. Her time with Hui Okinawa brought untold fulfillment.
To the Dear Ladies of her FCE Club Hana Like Ka Kou, many thanks for being part of the "girls" and for supporting Carolyn those many years together. Those monthly gatherings brought her great "joy ".
To the ladies joining into the family, Carolyn extends her appreciation and asks for continued support for her sons and grandchildren. To her brothers and wide spread Ohana, please know that Carolyn is thankful for all the shared memories as her nieces and nephews continuously increased and continue to increase.
