Gerald (Jerry) passed away at home in Kaneohe, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the age of 83. Jerry attended Kamehameha School and graduated from Punahou School as part of the class of 1955. He graduated from Oregon State College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Jerry worked for the Federal Government at Fort Shafter and Pearl Harbor. He was a Board Member of the Pearl Harbor Credit Union.Jerry is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his daughters Malia Chong and Maile (Mark) Cluney and granddaughter, Nanea. He is also survived by his brother, Gordon (Vivian) Chong and nieces and nephew. Jerry was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Eleanor Chong and his sister Ernestyne (Teeny) LaSorba.
The family want to extend a special thank you to Saint Francis Hospice staff for their special care.
A private service will be held.
