Sally Arceli Aguda Misajon
Sally Arceli Aguda Misajon101, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loving family on October 23, 2020. Born on June 7, 1919 to Juan de Peralta Aguda and Juliana Cariaga Aguirre Aguda, in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. At age five, she moved to Pahala, Hawaii.

Predeceased by husband, James J. M. Misajon, son Stephen, sister Mercedes Serapion, and brothers Pascual and Bernardo. She is survived by sons Alison (Carolyn) and Garrett (Leilani), daughter Sandra, 3 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sally attended Pahala High and Elementary where she wrote the lyrics to the schools Alma Mater. She went there until middle school, then attended and graduated from Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu. She retired as a Land Title Researcher from the Department of Transportation, State of Hawaii. She was an active and faithful member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Her faith in God and the Methodist church helped guide her through life. She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Women, and the National Association of Filipino-American United Methodists.

Sally loved Hawaii, her heritage, cooking, gardening, dogs, travel, photography and music. She belonged to the Pasuquinios of Hawaii, the Hawaiian Anthurium Society, the Cactus and Succulent Society and her local Kennel club. With her husband James and her children, she traveled extensively. She took numerous photos and shared them with family and friends. Her home was a gathering place for all, and she would cook up a feast on many festive occasions.

She will mostly be remembered for the love and warmth she gave to all. She was considerate, kind and generous, and supported many Charitable organizations. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

Celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church. 1352 Liliha Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817.
