Alisa Imakyure, beloved wife of Carl Imakyure, loving mother of Kelly-Ann Imakyure and Rhema Kishida, daughter of Edwin and Masako Shimabukuro and sister of Kevin Shimabukuro, passed away on November 2, 2020. A faithful Christian, she served her Lord by protecting children in her 15 years of service as a social worker for the Department of Human Services; by nurturing children and families in the churches she was called to; and by sharing the love of Jesus as missionary to children in Thailand and Kenya. A Covid-safe service of viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Nuuanu Memorial Mortuary.
