Mitzi Mitsuko Lee
Mitzi Mitsuko LeeIt is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Mitzi Mitsuko Lee, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Mom left us peacefully in her sleep in her Kailua home on the morning of October 21, 2020.

Born in Yamanashi-Ken, Japan in 1928, the youngest of nine children, Mom grew up in a close farming community with beautiful Mount Fuji as a backdrop. In Japan, during the Korean War, she met Navy Chief Petty Officer Robert K.W. Lee, born and raised in Hawaii. They married on December 21, 1953 and moved to Hawaii to start their life together. Mom proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1960.

She is the beloved mother of Robert Jr. (Erin), Blossom (Kenneth), and Marshall, the proud grandmother of Kristi, Aja, and Aura, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

A private burial service was held at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl Crater, where Mom was laid to rest with our father.
