Jordan graduated from McKinley High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa and was a veteran with the U.S. Naval Reserve. He retired as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service and as a Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman. He enjoyed his grandchildren, granddogs (Dooney, Allison and Chloe), tennis, photography, ice cream and specialized in making his popo's secret "gau" recipe for family and friends.
He is survived by wife Ruby M., sons Scott, Brian (Salina), Jeffrey (Judy) Lum, stepson Brandon (Jill) Chun, grandchildren Ian Lum, Austin Chun, Ryden Yagi, Miyako Lum, brother Melvin (Carol) Lum, sisters Lorraine (Gerald) Ching, Anita Murakami and June (Thomas) Chun.
Private services were held at Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
