89, passed away surrounded by her family, peacefully at her home in Aiea, Hawaii, on October 27, 2020.She was born on May 2, 1931 in Wailuku, Maui where she attended Baldwin High School. She is a graduate of St. Francis Nursing School and Hawaii Loa College. She worked as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital for 38 years, where she was highly regarded by her colleagues. After retiring, she enjoyed spending her days listening to Hawaiian music, dancing hula with friends, and walking at the beach with her family.
Preceded in death by her two brothers, Harry and Paul Tokunaga. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Henry; sister, Jane Harkness; son, Michael (Pam) Chun; daughter, Lori (Myles) Okada, and daughter, Terry (Laurent) Chun; 4 grandsons and 2 step grandsons.
