Passed away on November 12, 2020. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Herbert Rapoza who founded the "Rapoza Mango." She was employed with United Airlines for over 30 years, and was a docent at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, and a member of the Red Hat Society. She graduated from Mid - Pacific Institute class of 1951. Sylvia is survived by her sister Marian Y. (Richard) Jackson; and brother Calvin (Diane) Yim of Virginia, many nephews and a niece.
