97, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on November 20, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was born in Kilauea, Kauai and graduated from Kauai High School. Alan served in the 100th Infantry Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, B-Company as a staff sergeant. After returning from the Army, he attended trade school and worked his way to become a journeyman electrician. He is survived by his wife Aileen; brother Richard (Anna); daughters Clarice Inouye, Valerie (Warren) Lane; two grandchildren Elisabeth (Jaysen) Agena, Christopher (Rachel) Lane; and two great- grandsons. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lauren Tamura. Private services to be held.
