Iese Laulusa
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of beloved husband, father and grandfather, Iese Laulusa. He was born in Samoa and at the age of 7 years old his family relocated to Kalihi on the island of Oahu. Iese excelled in English as his second language, boxing and friendships. He was also an excellent fisherman and body boarder. After graduating from Farrington High School, he went on to become a paratrooper in the US Army. In 1976, he met his "Potagee Teine", and enjoyed 44 years together. Known as a trustworthy and dependable friend, favorite uncle and outstanding green thumb, he will truly be missed.
Iese is survived by wife Renee, daughters Amanda (deceased) and Karlyn, son-in-law Kenneth Moore and grandchildren, Karter & Shakira Moore. He is also survived by siblings, Timo "Mailo" Laulu, Afimuao Lafo, Lisa Mamea, Rex Faatoafe and many nieces, nephews and extended Ohana & Aiga.
Due to the COVID pandemic there will be no services. Donations may be sent to Navian Hawaii.
