71, passed away on November 19, 2020 in his home in Mililani, HI with his family by his side. Born in Honolulu on December 30, 1948, he was the son of Edwin Akana & Loretta Kim. After graduating from Farrington High School in 1966, he began his 44-year career at Hawaiian Airlines, served in the Army for three years, officiated football, and traveled the world. Phil is survived by his wife, Sherri; children, Bryant (Hilda), Bryson, Kristin Masters (Scott) & Kevin; grandchildren, Branden, Jocelyn, & Chelsie; brothers Edwin & Gerald Akana, Nicholas, Frank & Clayton Oducado; sister Debra Holcomb (Rich).
