Charles (Chuck) L. Chism
Charles (Chuck) L. ChismAge 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on November 19, 2020. Chuck was born on September 24, 1936 in Quanah, Texas.

He leaves behind the love of his life Maxine Abreu Chism, after over 52 years of marriage.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank E. and Mettie Mae (Kidd) Chism, brothers, A.W. Chism, J.R. Chism, sisters Ella Mae Clark and Euna Faye Reynolds.

He is survived by his brother, Royce Chism of Texas.

His beloved children Michael Keith Chism, Kimberly Clark (John) and Michael Potts (Roselani). He is also survived by his 5 beautiful grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Chuck worked for Martin Marietta, until he transferred in 1968 to Kauai and worked for Pacific Missile Range Facility. Eventually moving to Oahu to work at both the Naval Supply Center and Naval Air Station, Barbers Point until his retirement in 1999.

He and Maxine retired to North Las Vegas, where they enjoyed their retirement traveling through many states, going on cruises, and flying to Europe to see many places of interest.

Chuck was an avid sportsman and participated in different tennis, softball, golf and bowling leagues. He loved country music and wrote a few songs that were eventually published.

A loving man who will truly be missed by his family and friends. A private celebration of life was held in Nevada to honor Chuck's legacy. Aloha A Hui Hou Kakou…. until we meet again!
