Nobuko Kikuchi, formerly of Waipahu, passed peacefully on November 12, 2020 in Kaneohe. Predeceased by son John, and husband Yoshio. Born in Hakodate, Japan, Nobuko met and married her husband Yoshio, when he was stationed in Japan for military service and moved to Oahu to raise her family and make her life. She taught Japanese language at the Waipahu Soto Mission and also worked at Arakawas Dept. Store until they closed. Survived by daughters: Jasmine (Leigh) Kupo, Elaine (Roy) Yamamoto, Esther Gayle; grandson Ricky (Jessica) Yamamoto, and great grandchildren Avery and Ellie. A private service was held.
