74Hedy began her teaching career in HongKong at Braemar Hill Nursery School, Hedy enjoyed Dim Sum lunches with her friends, asking her husband, Garvin, to rush over to restaurants on the Kowloon side on Saturdays.
Settling in Hawaii in 1992, Hedy began work at Kama'aina Kids School on Lunalilo St. where she was promoted to Pre-school Director, serving there for about 25 years. Hedy exemplified a lifelong caring for children, for their education and welfare. She was a true gourmet, a gift from her parents, but enjoyed most watching us partake of good food. Hedy lived simply, treated all kindly, and served others with a selfless Christian spirit. She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Garvin Chun, and her two daughters, Christie Chun, and Crystal Chun.
