81 yrs. old, of Honolulu, HI, passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2020 at home with his family members at his side. He was born in Kau, Hawaii, the eldest son of Masao and Hiroko Tanaka. An active 1957 alumni of Mckinley High School and retired mason foreman for Hawaiian Dredging Precast plant of 38 years, who shared much camaraderie with his fellow co-workers.
Survived by: wife Patricia, son: Grant and daughter: Bliss Debby Tanaka, grandchildren: Jenai (Michael) Gamboa, Risa Jade Beddow and Reighn Schoenlein, great-granddaughters: Olivia and Emma Gamboa, brothers: Harold (and Wayne who preceded him in death).
Much mahalo to his golf group at Moanalua Golf Club which he truly enjoyed golfing with on Sundays.
Due to covid, a private service will be held.
