On December 4, 2020, Gordon Joseph Mattos, 73, passed away on O'ahu, Hawai'i and entered into eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Born to Alice Lei (Kekauoha) and Manuel Silva Mattos on September 12, 1947 in Honolulu, Gordon was a brother to Kenneth, Glenn, Manuel, and Gilbert Mattos.
Growing up in Waimanalo, Gordon was a proud graduate of Kailua High School c/o 1965. After 30 wonderful years, Gordon retired from Hawaiian Electric in 2002. Gordon will be remembered for the unconditional love he had for his family, friends, community and his Lord.
He is pre-deceased by his wife Helene K. (Kidder) Mattos and is survived by his Mother Alice Lei; Brothers Glenn (Lynn); Manuel (Linda); daughter Shangri-la Santiago; sons Gordon Ali'i (Traci-Miki), and Keaookalani (Doris); 9 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to friends and family for their condolences and prayers during this time.
