LAURA LOUISE CHRITTON GLENN
Laura Louise Chritton Glenn passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 3 in Wilmington, NC. She was born in 1959 in Knoxville, TN. Laura graduated from the Webb School of Knoxville and the University of South Carolina. She is survived by her daughters, Carrie and Kristen, and their father, Craig, of Honolulu, HI; sister Susan (Wade) Seagraves and brother Kirby (Valerie) of Jacksonville, FL; brothers Ernest (Vickie) of Titusville, FL and Michael (Romaine) of Green, OH; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Nan and Ernie, and nephew Will. She lived in Hawaii for decades where she was employed by the University of Hawaii. She was active in Manoa Valley Church, the Noli Singers and Children's Moments; the Elks Club, and The Red Hat Society. Laura recently moved to Ooltewah, TN and was active at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church. In her youth she was multiple-time Tennessee cycling champion and competed nationally. An online memorial service will be celebrated by Laura's childhood friend, the Rev. Louisa "Lou" Tucker Parsons, rector at St. Francis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Manoa Valley Church.
