67, of Wai'anae, passed away on December 1, 2020. Born in Honolulu December 26, 1952, raised in Nanakuli and Wai`anae. Graduated from Wai'anae High School class of 1970. Retired from HFM as an Billing Clerk. Obe is survived by Brothers George Jr, David (Rochelle), and Eugene (Stephanie) Kawelo, Sisters Melmanette Worthington, Ursula (Fred) Mikulenka (from San Antonia TX), and Janmar Gonzalez. Many nieces and nephews both on the Kawelo and Villamor Ohana she helped raise as a second mother. Preceded in death by her parents George Sr and Philemina Kawelo, sisters Paige Kawelo Barber and Georgette Kawelo.
Obedine was a devoted sister, sister-inlaw, and aunt that will truly be miss by her ohana and friends. Obe great past time was playing cards with her friends from town. We will miss you and keep you forever in our hearts. Until We meet again A hui hou makou.
