Paul Teruyuki Tanaka passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at the age of 83. He was born on February 1, 1937 in Ewa to Wallace and Fumiko Tanaka, grew up in Honouliuli, and graduated from Waipahu High School in 1955.Paul worked for the Board of Water Supply for 30 years from 1961 to 1991 and served in the Army Reserve for 8 years. He was a hard worker and loved helping family and friends with any plumbing needs, which filled his spare time for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Vicki (Keith) Agena, Patrick Tanaka, Renee (Chad) Peiler, Susie (Chad) Fujiwara; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and sisters Ethel Shinsato, Edith (Joe) Wong. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Fred Tanaka.
His family extends their love and appreciation to all whose friendship and unconditional love brought joy throughout his lifetime. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private memorial and inurnment service will be held at Valley of the Temples.
