79, was born on May 16, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York and passed away on December 3, 2020, in Honolulu, his home for over forty years. Frank devoted his life to teaching and literary research. While earning degrees from St. Johns University (BA) and New York University (MA) he taught in the secondary schools. He joined the staff at the University of Hawaii after he completed his doctorate at the University of California, Riverside. He spent the next 35 years teaching English at UH and publishing books and articles on his primary interest, Early Modern Literature along with articles on movies and sports. For many years he and his wife enjoyed regular walks in the Kuli'ou'ou Valley and Hawaii Kai. He is survived by his wife, June, his sister Mary, a niece, two nephews and their children.
