82, of Waipahu, passed away at home on January 13, 2021. Born September 19, 1938 in Paia on Maui, he was the youngest of 12 children born to Jusaku and Tama Miyashiro. He graduated from Maui High School, Class of 1956. He attended the University of Hawaii and served in the United States Army, then went on to work for IBM Corp for over 25 years as a customer engineer. Mike enjoyed golfing with his buddies, watching UH sports, cheering for the 49ers, trips to Las Vegas, and yardwork.He is survived by wife, Nancy; daughter, Misty; son, Nathan (Jamie); granddaughters, Aya and Yui; sisters, Doris Saiki of Maui, Mildred Miyashiro of Honolulu, and Irene Worthington of Florida. Private service to be held at a later date.
