Lorraine B.J. Nomura was born in Honolulu on November 12, 1942. She passed away at home on December 14, 2020 at the age of 78. After 7 years, cancer returned and accelerated during the last month before taking her. She was employed at the City and County of Honolulu as a personnel clerk and retired after 42 years.The 9th Island was her second home. She always looked forward to her quarterly trip to her vacation home there. Gambling was only a small part of her trip. It was getting together with neighbors and friends (her Vegas 'Ohana) that she looked forward to most.
A spirited woman who lived on her own terms with a "no shame" attitude, she simply lived her life the way she wanted, with no regrets. She was a proud grandma to Reese, Kian, and Zoey. Lorraine will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Survived by husband, Guy, sons, Clayton Yee, Gregg, and Dean, daughter, Trisha (Renan) Bumagat and 3 grandchildren. Private services were held.
