FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

DANIEL PAUHUPU FOSTER, JR.
DANIEL PAUHUPU FOSTER, JR. Age 72, of Mililani, O'ahu passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021 at home surrounded by his 'ohana and was born on June 18, 1948 at Queen's Hospital.
He is known as Danny and "Unko" to many. Danny was a 35 year retired Local 3 Heavy Equipment Operator. Upon retiring, he started his trucking business called D & R Equipment Rental with his son, Robert.
Some of his favorite things to do were go surfing, play 'ukulele and guitar, and travel to Las Vegas. He enjoyed building hot rod cars and collecting minions. He loved to eat at Tanaka Saimin and Zippy's.
Danny is survived by his wife, Connie. They recently celebrated 52 wonderful years of marriage on December 23, 2020. He is survived by three children: Peter (Tracy), Hanalei (Shannon), and Danelle. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Kainoa, Hammer, Hi'ilei, Ku'ukamaleihi'ipoikealoha, Kekoa, Ashanti, and Chyane, and brother Cyrus (Jody).
He is predeceased by his parents, Margaret Leialoha Kapaona and Daniel Pauhupu Foster Sr., siblings Paul (Sheila), Pua (Stan), Marvin, and Kalani (Ednette).
Mahalo nui loa to all the dedicated people who helped us courageously fight cancer for the past 21 years. We send our appreciation to our family, friends, neighbors, Hawaii Cancer Care, Bristol Hospice, Pali Momi, Queen's West.
There is no memorial service at this time due to the pandemic. Per family tradition, Danny's ashes will be scattered at Ali'i's at a later date.
