81In 1960 he moved to Oahu to work in his trade, got married and raised a family. In June of 2010 at the age of 73 he retired from Hawaii Stevedores, Inc. In his retirement years he and his wife, Lolita did some traveling. Their favorite place to go was Las Vegas. Eventually, as his wife's health deteriorated he became her primary caregiver. After 59 years of marriage, Lolita passed away in March of 2020.
Bobby was a very kindhearted man, a loving husband and father. He is survived by his children: Indria (Kenneth) Tin Loy-Smiley, Myles "Bully" Tin Loy; Grandchildren: Sheldon (Jennifer) Smiley, Shayne Smiley, Shaila Smiley, Jessica Tin Loy, Marissa Tin Loy (Wailana Ostermann), Dylan Tin Loy and Isabella Tin Loy; Great Grandchildren: Lucian Smiley-Ishii, Maddison Ostermann and Wailana Ostermann, Jr.
