It is with deep and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved, Alvin Hyo Soon You. He passed away on December 31st, 2020 surrounded by his family at Straub Hospital ICU. A 1958 Kailua High School graduate and a Veteran of the US Air Force.Alvin was the owner of DMR Contracting & Painting, Inc. for 38 years until he retired in 2018. Alvin was immensely loved by his wife of 52 years Eunice Nanette You, children Derek (Lucia) You, Malia (Louie) Mansanas and Ryan, You, and Goddaughters Roma & Mehana Lee. Loved & admired by his 10 grand- children: Riley & Theodora You, Collin, Louis Jr., Haley & Hunter Mansanas and Jayden, Kaikea & Keahi You and 6 great-grand- children. Survived by his brother Joseph (Bobo) You Jr. & sister Susan Wong.
Private services and a celebration of life will be held on a later date by his family. The You family would like to thank everyone for all their condolences and well wishes in this time of mourning and healing.
