75, of Hawaii Kai, passed away at home on February 5, 2021 after battling terminal cancer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Elaine relocated to Honolulu to attend the University of Hawaii. She later worked in the Technology and Administrative Departments at Amfac, Inc., Carlsmith Ball Wichman Murray Case & Ichiki, The Hawaiian Humane Society, and KCAA Preschools of Hawaii. Elaine had a passion for the care and wellbeing of dogs and was the lead organizer in the planning, construction, and operation of the Hawaii Kai Dog Park. Although she is no longer with us in person, her dynamic spirit, strong character, and humble nature will live on in the minds and hearts of those who knew and loved her. Elaine is survived by her husband, Ronald, daughter, Sara, and sister, Carol Shouldice of Denver, Colorado. Private services will be held. Arrangements Provided By:
