Marie was born and raised in Pahoa, Hawaii, and lived in Hilo for many years. In 1969, she, along with her husband and children, moved to Southern California.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Yasuto, in 2014. She is survived by her daughters: Barbara (Gary) Burnett, Kathleen Kikkawa, Phyllis (Dorai) Paris and Sandra (Fred) Luckau; stepson, Dennis (Patty) Hamamoto; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A family Celebration of her Life will be planned in the future.
