Jean Ann Laura Milnor
Jean Ann passed away on February 11, with loved ones by her side. She was born in Honolulu, on September 21, 1954 to Dr. John and Hazel Milnor. She had Down Syndrome and inspired their life long journey as advocates for those with mental retardation (intellectual disabilities). Jean Ann was a loving sister who enjoyed her family, friends and life. She liked to dance, listen to music, read comics and swim; participating in the Special Olympics many times. She touched those who knew her with her smile, humor and thoughtfulness. She was a kind sweet soul who from an early age said that her talent was to love God. Jean Ann will be missed, but she is now flying with the angels.
It is with gratitude that I thank caregiver Claribel Cabantog and her family for all the care, kindness and love shown to Jean Ann.
Jean Ann is predeceased by her parents Dr. John and Hazel Milnor. She is survived by her sister Mary Milnor and cousins on the mainland. Private Services.
