94, of Kailua, a WWII Army veteran and retired from the Army Corps of Engineers in Okinawa, passed away on January 14, 2021 in Ewa Beach. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by son, Steven (Nanae); daughters, Alice Tanabe and Joyce (David) Miyashiro; sisters, Shizue Takaki, Hannah Furuta and Kikue Hirata; and grandchildren, Ellie Miyashiro, Kevin Miyashiro and Carina Tanabe. Private services.
