Shannon grew up in Kalihi and is the second oldest of 4 siblings. He was limited in mobility at an early age but was able to have a successful hip surgery/replacement at Shriners Hospital. Shannon enjoyed playing the saxophone in high school and participated in marching band competitions. He graduated from Damien High School in 1992.
Shannon met Lani in 1999 through mutual friends. He was a dedicated husband and father to the boys. In 2018, granddaughter Paxton came to live with them and she ruled her Papa's world. 20 years of love and happiness will be forever cherished.
Shannon leaves behind unforgettable and special memories with his family and friends. He would come off as a firm individual, but he was loving, big hearted, generous and always willing to help anyone in need. He looked forward to his yearly February trips to Las Vegas with his parents and brothers, and also trips with his own family. He loved spending time with his boys and granddaughter. He also loved getting together with friends and family on weekends barbequing and playing cards. His hobbies included collecting anything Superman, Funko Pop figurines, Hot Wheels, Sports cards, and rare memorabilia.
You will be truly missed by all. Always in our hearts. #FlyingwithAngels.
