She was a dedicated member of Jikoen Hongwanji involved in the JBWA (Jikoen Buddhist Women's Association), sewing club, choir, Marion's Karaoke and a member of the Yomitan Club. She helped at obon festivals, church fundraisers and worked as a helper at Lumbini Pre-school.
She is survived by her sons: Ralph (Shirleen) Kiyuna, Paul (Jeanine) Kiyuna, daughters: Gail Kiyuna-Peterson, Joyce (Charles) Colotario; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, brothers: Charles Yonamine, Henry Yonamine, Thomas Yonamine and sister Bessie Nishioka. She was predeceased by her husband Shinyu Kiyuna.
Graveside service was held at Moiliili Cemetery on Sunday, March 7.
