FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Paul Sanji Watanabe

98, passed away in January 2021. Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. Paul was a proud Nisei soldier of the 442nd RCT and assigned to the 232nd Combat Engineer Company. After returning home from WWII, he worked and retired from the Pearl Harbor Naval Supply. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Watanabe and daughters Karen Watanabe, Alyson Watanabe and one grandson, Kolson. Private service to be held.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Maunalani Nursing and Rehab Center for all the love and support you have provided.
