Born in Kapoho, Yachiyo "Janet", loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, and aunty passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home in Honolulu on March 1, 2021 at the age of 92. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Yoshimura, she is survived by daughter Jenny (Michael) Nomura, son Dean, sisters Kiyome Tanaka, Hiroko Fujimoto, Yasuko Iwashita, brothers Fukashi, Yasuharu, Masanobu Iwashita, granddaughter Diana (Shigeomi) Hirabayashi and great- granddaughter Skyla Hirabayashi.
Although she worked for Manoa Finance for over 30 years she helped her parents, Shigeo and Harumi Iwashita in their numerous family businesses. She was quite the multi-tasker!
