Beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2021 in Honolulu at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife Denise; son Baret (Rie) Yoshida; daughters Jaci (Jon-Michael) Manuel, Dawn (Arnel) Cabingabang; 7 grandchildren; brother Lester (Carolyn); sister Loretta (Russell) Tabata; nieces and nephews. He retired from the Hawaii Department of Health as an Epidemiological Specialist. A graduate of Roosevelt High School, Lawrence attended the University of Hawaii, Adrian Collage, and the University of New Mexico where he received his Ph.D. in Immunology.
